Emma Martnez, 81, of Ranchos de Taos passed away on September 18, 2008. She is preceded in death by husband, Liberato Martnez, brothers, Victor Chvez, Clemaco Chvez, Tobias Chvez, and Loy Chvez. She is survived by children, Lee Martnez, Loretta Mondragn (Anthony), Albert Martnez (Barbara), grandchildren, Daniel, Sheree (Jason), Antonio (Crystal), Meredith (James) and 7 great grand children, brother, Enrique Henry (Donna) and sister-in-laws, Ida Chvez, Dolores Struck, Eva Mondragn (Teofilo) and Emma Aragn (Cornelio). Rosary was recited on September 22, 2008 at San Francisco de Ass Church. Funeral mass was held on September 23, 2008 at San Francisco de Ass Church with interment following at the Llano Quemado Cemetery.
