Lewiston - , 92, a lifetime resident of Turner, passed away peacefully with her family by her side on Sunday, June 1, at Central Maine Medical Center in Lewiston following a brief illness. She was born May 7, 1916, in Turner, the daughter of Leslie and Blanche (Rose) Stevens. She graduated from Leavitt Institute in 1935. Over the years Margaret was active in 4-H, Turner Grange, Pamona Grange, Turner Center Universalist Church, the Farm Bureau and the Ladies Circle. She was married to Alexander Bailey on May 19, 1944, in Lewiston. Margaret was a homemaker and oversaw the family farm. Margaret Rose "Meg" Weaver, 52, of Reinholds, went to be with her Lord at Hospice of Lancaster County, Mount Joy on Sunday, July 26, 2009. Born in Hinkletown, she was the daughter of Rev. Warren Good and the late Mary (Fry) Good. She was married to Ervin Weaver for 31 years. She fought a long and courageous battle with cancer.
WOOSTER -- Margaret Elizabeth Rose, 90, of Wooster, died Friday, June 22, 2007, in West View Manor Nursing Home. A Memorial Service will be held at Wooster United Methodist Church, Tuesday, June 26, at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Dr. David Wilcox officiating.
