IT WAS DEEPLY DISAPpointing to read Mara Lee's article `Revisiting the enterprise zone,' Feb. 15. The table that accompanied the article was incorrect regarding West Carrollton.
The figures listed in the `Jobs Pledged' and `Net Jobs Through 2002' columns are transposed. Also, while the `Investment through 2002' number is correct, the `Pledged Investment' amount is overstated by almost $11 million. I was unable to determine how she arrived at such a large overstatement.

VIRGINIA BEACH - Margaret Scott "Muff" Mariner, 57, known to most as Muff, a childhood nickname that stayed with her throughout her life, died peacefully Oct. 9, 2009 from cancer. She leaves behind a daughter, Mara Ellen Lee, 27; a son, Donald William "Billy" Lamb, 21; younger brother, Roger Mariner; twin brother, Mark Mariner; older brother, Bill Mariner; her partner, Bob Titcomb; and an extended family and close friends who loved her very much.
Muff was an artist, a teacher, a loving mother and a great friend. She touched many lives through her kindness and her ability to bring out the best in others. The Rev. Fred McCallister of Southside will be honored on Saturday, June 20th by his family and friends in recognition of his 80th birthday. The open house will be held in the church annex of the Harmony Baptist Church for all community members to visit with Fred and his family. NORFOLK - Mercedes dePoo Feinstein, 79, of the 200 block of South Newtown Road, went to be with the Lord Dec. 18, 2008. A native of Cuba, she was the daughter of the late Jose M. and Amelia Martin dePoo.
She is survived by her husband, Benton S. Feinstein; three daughters, Mara Lee Lackoff and her husband Martin of Andover, Mass., Patricia Roden of Putnam, Conn., and Kathryn Roden of Virginia Beach; five sons, Mark Vengerow of Vermont, Thomas Roden and his wife Lisa of Portsmouth, Richard Roden of Woodstock, Conn., Matthew Roden and his wife Mary-Beth of Long Island, N.Y., Joseph Feinstein of San Francisco; a sister, Sylvia Ryan and her husband Mark of Palm Desert, Calif.; eight grandchildren; and a great- grandson.

HARTFORD, Conn. - Since he got his bachelor's degree last May, Kirk Devezin II has worked a little more than six months. He has freelanced. He has never made more than the $10.36 per hour he earned as a barista at Starbucks while he was a student at Eastern Connecticut State University.
He has interviewed for one job related to his communications major - as a content developer for e-commerce site TicketNetwork - and one career-track job as a manager-in-training at Enterprise Rent- A-Car.
