IN case YOU HAVEN'T tuned in to network programming in the past decade, Festivus is the Seinfeld holiday "for the rest of us," invented by the character Frank Costanza as an alternative to the commercialization of the holiday season. First featured on the sitcom in December 1997, the Festivus celebration includes such rituals as the "Airing of Grievances," "Feats of Strength" and, in lieu of a Christmas tree, the Festivus pole - an unadorned length of aluminum pipe. And a lot of yelling. [Adam Mamula] doesn't claim to be much of a singer - a limitation the raspy-voiced [LEONARD COHEN] also cops to. "It's just something I discovered I was able to do," he says. Originally from Monaca, Pa., Mamula is classical percussionist by trade, and drummer for rock band The Zou. "We kinda take the mu...
INDIANAPOLIS The NFL combine is a sly beast. See Mamula, Mike, 1995, the prototypical combine cautionary tale. Mamula was an undersized defensive end from Boston College. Pretty good player, not great. Evidently, however, he leapt tall buildings and caught bullets in his teeth at the combine.

Plumbing the depths of Cohen's hymnal is a double-edged sword: While the man's musical phases have swerved from strength to strength since his 1968 debut, lately they've been coming a little slowly ...
Growing up as a child of deaf parents wasn't easy for Dan Mamula and his seven brothers and sisters. For Dan, born last into this large and unique family, the experiences of every day life took on a special meaning almost from the beginning.
Then, the info on [Warren Sapp] hit the ESPN news cycle. We knew who was going to be taken at seven- [Mike Mamula]. We mocked it SO different times and could tell you 8,9 and 10. ... What we couldn't account for was 11, Minnesota. They had Johnny Rändle (at defensive tackle), so maybe they couldn't pull the trigger (on Sapp). We were hopeful.
Robert Mamula scored on a penalty kick with 10 minutes left in the first half to lift Canon-McMillan past Class AA No. 1-ranked South Park, 1-0, in non-section action.
