There was a time, not so long ago, when such signs were fairly common in Lancaster County and throughout the United States. Now most signs are severely faded or entirely gone.
The authors assembled leading mass communication scholars for this anthology, whose twelve chapters cover topics ranging from campaign finance reform, Web advertising and e-mail strategies, to blogging, and rumor campaigns. Based on their results, they found liberals tended to use bulletin boards, electronic mailing lists, and chat rooms more heavily, while conservatives were more active blog users, especially to criticize the liberal media elites and inaccuracies in campaign coverage.
