  • I wasn't surprised by the report," says Dr. Lydia A. Shrier of the Division of Adolescent/Young Adult Medicine at Children's Hospital Boston. "It's not just talk. STDs are really an epidemic among young women - particularly African American women. "The issue for HPV is that so many people have it," Shrier says.
