By Mark Zaretsky Register Staff mzaretsky@nhregister.com EAST HAVEN -- With less than a week remaining before the July 15 deadline for completion of the Maple Street Bridge across the Farm River, it appears as if the contractor is not going to make it -- and the town plans to enforce a $1,300-a-day "liquidated damages" penalty in the contract, Deputy Director of Town Affairs Paul Hongo Jr. says.
