POMONA - "Roar for America" was the theme of the Pomona Host Lions Club's Flag Day recognition held last week at 10 first- and second-grade classrooms and a special day class at Pueblo and Yorba elementary schools. In each class, the children listened as a Lions Club member read to them from a picture book, "The Flag We Love."
