PLAYER OF THE GAME Two straight weeks of catching the game-winning touchdown is going to get receiver Greg Jennings celebrity status. He and quarterback Brett Favre seem to be on the same page more often and when Jennings gets the ball in his hands, he's making big things happen. He started off this game dropping a pass, but he came back with a clutch catch-and-run touchdown from the 13-yard line late in the third quarter. Those are the kinds of plays Jennings made in college, catching it short and then finding a way to get yards afterward. What was rarely sold was his deep-ball ability. After beating Denver's Dre' Bly for an 82-yard touchdown in overtime last week, he blew by linebacker Donnie Edwards for a 60-yard catch in the fourth quarter to give the Packers the lead back at 23-22....

One of the more sought after defenders remaining in the unrestricted free agent pool, veteran linebacker Donnie Edwards, who wore out his welcome in San Diego despite being one of the Chargers' most productive defenders, is being welcomed back by the team with which he began his NFL career. Edwards, who started his career with the Kansas City Chiefs, might finish it with them after agreeing today on terms of a reported three-year, $13.5 million contract.
