Many years ago, a young graduate of the University of Oklahoma's school of journalism was farm editor at the state's largest newspaper. Back then, farm editor was a big job and it dealt with live farmers and cowmen, not just characters in a Broadway musical. A young woman in the society department, as it was called in the early days, realized how talented he was and how personable.
