SOUTHFIELD, Mich., Oct. 29 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- As part of its ongoing efforts to alleviate human suffering, the American relief organization, Life for Relief and Development (Life) in partnership with another humanitarian organization, will be providing two major shipments of children's medicines with a value of over two and half million dollars to hospitals and clinics in Pakistan. Working with Another Joy Foundation, based in Nevada, Life shipped out supplies of decongestants and antibiotics for children valued over $2.6 million dollars, to be distributed to various hospitals and clinics in Pakistan. One shipment was sent this week and the second shipment will follow next week. Flights are being provided courtesy of Pakistan International Airlines (PIA).
FBI searches home of local Muslim family The FBI raided the Southfield, Mich., office of Life for Relief and Development Monday and simultaneously searched the Columbia home of Iraqi-American Shakir Hamoodi, 54, on Woodberry Court. Hamoodi, who owns an international grocery in Columbia, is a paid speaker who helps the charity's fundraising efforts.
