Today's mail brought a letter from HSBC, the issuer of one of my credit cards. The letter explained changes made in the terms of my card member agreement. The letter troubles me. I have received letters from my credit card issuers before. I have been notified of changes in the terms of the agreements before. Most of those changes have not been favorable to me as a consumer. I may not have liked the changes, but I was not troubled until I received this letter. Why did this letter trouble me?
