Judi Kozak became the Legislative Council president Monday night in a unanimous vote.
Following her election Nov. 8 as the council member from the 1st District, Kozak quickly emerged as the top choice for president. She replaces James Pascarella, who did not seek re-election so he could get back to focusing on his insurance business.
