WRIGHT-PATTERSON AIR FORCE BASE -- The Dayton Development Coalition and members of Congress are discussing whether an income tax that Riverside has begun imposing on some Wright-Patterson Air Force Base contractors and their employees is legal.
The coalition is working to encourage government contractors who now serve military bases in Arizona, Texas and other states to move to Wright-Patterson along with aerospace medicine and other research programs that are to be relocated by 2011 under the nation's 2005 base realignment and closure decisions.
