On Friday and Saturday, Feb 22, 2008 and Feb 23, 2008 the Executive Committee of the American Board of Certification (ABC) gathered in Dallas for an intensive two-day meeting to discuss, with an expert in the field, the status and future of certification of legal specialists in the US. Of particular, importance to the Executive Committee was ensuring that ABC remains on the forefront of legal specialization and the certification process related thereto. On Apr 5, 2008 at the Annual Spring Meeting of the American Bankruptcy Institute, the Board of Directors of the ABC held its semi-annual meeting. Lastly, the ABC's Faculty Retreat was held on Friday, Apr 25, 2008 and Saturday, Apr 26, 2008.
