PORTLAND -- , 65, of Lexington Township died very unexpectedly on Tuesday, March 22, at Maine Medical Center, after a short illness. Linda was born Nov. 20, 1944, in Arlington Mass., the daughter of Herbert L. and Marjorie R. (Burnette) Fowle. She attended the University of Maine, where she met her husband, Jim Taylor. She and Jim were married June 4, 1966 in Bangor. They lived in several states, Luxembourg and Singapore as a result of Jim's work with DuPont and time in the Navy. They moved back to Maine in 2000, and started to build their retirement home in Lexington, an old family property surrounded by many flower beds, berry patches and fruit trees. This was the 17th place they had lived in their nearly 45 years of marriage.
GATES - , 58, passed away Aug. 30, 2009. He was born in Suffolk, the son of the late Mary Elizabeth Upton Taylor and J.D. Taylor. He was predeceased by his first wife of 25 years, Katherine Marie Pippins Taylor. Felton was a U.S. Army veteran. He worked as a truck driver for Wilkins Trucking Company. Felton is survived by his wife of eight years, Debra Kay Taylor of Gates; daughter and son-in-law, Jennifer Marie Taylor Stepp and John I. Stepp of Windsor, Va.; stepsons, Romie Michael Williams of Georgia, Thomas Joseph Williams of Portsmouth; grandchild, Alyssa M. SEATTLE - A remembrance of Debbie will be held in the Old Tacoma Music Hall in Tacoma on Saturday, Sept. 16. Debbie died in Harborview Medical Center in Seattle April 28, 2006. Viewing was held May 4 & 5, 2006, at Valley Hills Funeral Home in Yakima. was born in Yakima March 17, 1961, to Liggett and Glenda Taylor, the first grandchild on both sides of the family. St. Patrick's Day happened to be on Deborah's birthday; what fun for her family to include shamrocks on cakes, cards and gifts.
