  • BEVERLY HILLS, Calif. - Sara Gilbert, producer and co-host of the new CBS daytime show "The Talk," said she will share her life as a lesbian partner and mom on the air when it seems right. But Leah Remini, among the six co-hosts, said she has no plans to make her religion, Scientology, part of the show.

  • LOS ANGELES - When "As the World Turns" concludes its 54-year run in September, it will be replaced by an hour-long daily talk show with six celebrity co-hosts - all women, an echo of ABC's popular "The View" series. CBS announced Wednesday that the hosts of the as-yet untitled show include Sharon Osbourne; Sara Gilbert of TV's "Roseanne" fame; Holly Robinson Peete from "Celebrity Apprentice;" Broadway actress Marissa Jaret Winokur; Leah Remini of "The King of Queens;" and Julie Chen, who hosts CBS' "Big Brother" and "The Early Show.

  • LOS ANGELES, Dec. 19 /U.S. Newswire/ -- With public distrust of psychiatry ever-increasing-and government agency drug warnings at an all time high-Scientology's psychiatric watchdog shows it's much worse than you think. Community and government leaders from across the globe were joined by ardent celebrity supporters Lisa Marie Presley, Priscilla Presley, Danny Masterson, Giovanni Ribisi, Leah Remini, Jenna Elfman, Catherine Bell and Marisol Nichols at the grand opening of a new state of the art museum Psychiatry an Industry of Death.

  • CULVER CITY, Calif. - "I'm not moving anything out of my dressing room just yet," said Leah Remini, still holding out hope for a 10th season of "King of Queens. The cast and crew of the stalwart CBS sitcom, along with network and studio executives and hundreds of others, had gathered earlier this year to celebrate the show's 200th episode - only the seventh time a TV comedy has done that since 1990. And there have been hundreds of them.

  • FLICK FLAK, random thoughts and wayward questions on coffee prices, a wine's age and John Edwards' haircut:- If President Bush never reads a newspaper or a book, as he joked with reporters the other day, the question might now be this: What will he put in his presidential library when it is built? Nothing? - Is Dr. Kevorkian the only doctor who calls it a great day if he successfully loses all his patients?- Just what is Italian beef? Is the cow from Rome? - Another grand plum of summertime: a double cheeseburger and cold beer at Green Gables at Lake Bloomington. - If not for the high school graduation ceremony, would beach balls be extinct? - How is it, if your car radio wasn't too loud when you last got out, it's always too loud when you get back in?- Shouldn't they have just had a ch...

  • ABC is adding one show to the five it picked up late last month, ordering 13 episodes of a comedy called "In the Motherhood. The show, based on a Web series of the same name, follows the travails of three moms, played by Chelsea Handler, Leah Remini and Jenny McCarthy. However, not all three actresses may make the transition to the TV series.

  • Shows worth tuning in this week: THE KING OF QUEENSAfter being approached by a wig maker about his wife's gorgeous hair, Doug (Kevin James) convinces Carrie (Leah Remini) to cut her mane so they'll make big money. But she gets a haircut so dreadful (aren't there any good hair salons in Queens these days?), neither one has much fun on the cruise they take with the money from the sale. You know a show is getting old when a story line is just too preposterous to be real. It's worth noting, however, that Pat Harrington Jr. ("One Day at a Time") drops by to visit Arthur (Jerry Stiller) while they're gone, and Robert Goulet plays himself, as a cruise crooner. (8 tonight, CBS)

  • DEAR SUN SPOTS: I love your column. It is the first thing I read in the morning. I'd like to find out what happened to Sara Gilbert's sister, who was on "The Talk," and also what happened to the other original lady who sat next to Julie Chen. I enjoyed both of them.

  • The first time Stevie Wonder performed at the Apollo, he was just a child, and he remembers being so nervous, he dropped his bongos on the stage floor. Wonder had no such butterflies Monday night as he was honored during the famed theater's spring gala with induction into the Legends Hall of Fame, which includes Aretha Franklin , Michael Jackson , Ella Fitzgerald and James Brown .
