But once they got there, they didn't have to worry about keeping score or counting outs. Every kid on the roster got a chance to bat every inning. And sometimes, if a player had a tough time hitting the ball, he or she was pitched a couple of balls at once, which increased the odds of success.

The Yale baseball team entered the weekend two games out of first place In the Ivy League's Red Rolfe Division.
