Evansville began their scoring in the first quarter after a series of excellent runs and passes and was finished off by a two yard plunge into the end zone by Saum. Evansville's last score came in the final quarter when Grant broke off for a fifty yard touchdown run. Evansville never let Boonville even get close to scoring as they held them to their side of the field most of the game.

MAHWAH -- Mahwah's girls track team isn't a stranger to drama. The Thunderbirds won a Bergen B title by one point and a North 1, Group 2 title by six points last year. This time? It was by two over Westwood at Mahwah on Saturday for their third consecutive sectional title.
RIDGEWOOD -- The Ramapo gymnastics team just keeps winning at Ridgewood. A week ago, the Green Raiders celebrated their first Bergen County title in 23 years competing in rival territory. Six days later they came back and won a North Jersey Gymnastics League title.
Mike Still (103 pounds) and Charlie Lynch (152) brought home individual titles and Archbishop Spalding captured the team title as the Cavaliers outlasted Sussex Central and 25 other teams to win the War at the Shore wretling tournament on Saturday. Spalding finished with 190 points, 31 points ahead of Sussex Central, and had nine wrestlers finish in the top eight.
