Town of Oconomowoc The Town Board voted unanimously Monday against a zoning change needed to permit construction of a 43-acre subdivision that area farmers and farmland preservation advocates have opposed vigorously for more than a year. But the Waukesha County Board will have the final say on the developer's request to change the zoning in the county's master land- use plan from an agricultural classification to allow residential use. The proposed subdivision hugs a section of the Ashippun River and also is under county shore land zoning restrictions.
