A large mobile home community in Cheektowaga has traded hands between two Chicago area real estate investment firms in a $6.05 million deal that includes the assumption of a significant mortgage.

Kenneth E. West went to be with his wife, Marjorie E (Harrel) on June 1, 2010. Kenneth was born in Smith Center, Kansas on July 4, 1929 the son of Thelma and Claude West. He married Marjorie on October 28, 1950 in Ellensburg. They moved to Moses Lake in 1952 where they raised their three daughters. Kenneth worked for U & I Sugar Company, Witco Chemical and built a mobile home park in Soap Lake, WA before managing RV parks in Yuma, AZ. Kenneth is survived by daughters Susan (Jon) Roberts of Lake Stevens, WA, Genia (Larry) Carvo of Connell, WA, and Kathy (Chris) Leishman of Chubbuck, ID, 7 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren along with many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
