The Securities and Exchange Commission filed a lawsuit last week against a former director of First Morris Bank, claiming she leaked information about the bank's plans to sell itself in 2006.
The suit filed Thursday in U.S. District Court in New Jersey alleges the former director, Kim Ann Deskovick of Mendham, and Brian S. Haig, an accountant from Hackettstown, violated laws prohibiting insider trading.
