The College of Wooster men's and women's swimming and diving teams got their respective seasons off to a good start Saturday, placing third and fourth at the season-opening Kenyon Relays, formerly known as the North Coast Athletic Conference Relays. This year, there were seven squads part of the men's field and six on the women's side. Wooster's men's 49-point performance was fueled by the combination of Alex Lajoie, Brian Maddock, Imre Namath, and Peter Parisi. The group joined forces for a fifth-place swim in the 200 medley relay (1:38.61), with Namath handling the anchor leg, and they tied for sixth in the 200 backstroke relay (1:40.71), anchored by Parisi.
