The Bureau is in the process of republishing the regulations implementing those laws with technical and conforming changes to reflect the transfer of authority and certain other changes made by the Dodd-Frank Act. In light of the transfer of the Department of Housing and Urban Development's (HUD's) rulemaking authority for the Interstate Land Sales Full Disclosure Act (ILSA) to the Bureau, the Bureau is publishing for public comment an interim final rule establishing a new Regulation J (Land Registration); a new ...

MANHATTAN -- Robert Lipson, Kansas State's scruffy superfan, has positioned himself 6 inches from my bumper outside of K-State's football complex. I didn't see him when I pulled in the parking lot, so the proximity is a bit unnerving. It's almost like he materialized out of air.
Lipson is there to alert me of a media opportunity. He will be attending coach Bill Snyder's news conference the following week to discuss a personal milestone, his 150th consecutive road game in conference play (neutral sites included).

DES MOINES, Iowa - Americans who were afraid to open their 401(k) statements during the recession are finding good news inside the envelope now: For the most part, their accounts have come all the way back and then some.
Nine in 10 of the popular retirement plans are at least back to where they were in October 2007, the peak of the stock market. Since the bull market began in March 2009, stocks have almost doubled.

NEW YORK - Francisco Rodriguez's $17.5 million mutual option has been declined, and the Milwaukee Brewers reliever was among 148 players who became free agents Sunday.
K-Rod's deal was reworked when he was traded from the New York Mets during the All-Star break, changing it from an option that would have become guaranteed had he finished 55 games. Rodriguez, used as a setup man by the Brewers, gets a $4 million buyout, up from the original $3.5 million.
