Though Xerox has tried to distance itself from alleged misconduct of its Long Island subsidiary, a state Supreme Court judge ruled just last week that the imaging giant must remain a co-defendant in a lawsuit against Melville-based Carr Business Systems.
That lawsuit was filed by a Manhattan-based competitor called Central Business Solutions and claimed Carr had hired former Central salesmen who had broken a noncompete agreement and taken some of Central's customers.
