BENIGNO `Nonoy' Aquino has his work cut out for him after winning the Phillippines presidential race. Can he rise to the challenge?
FORMER PLAYBOY PRESIDENT Joseph Estrada tried coming back from a black hole to again win the presidency of the Philippines. After his flamboyant and controversial career, it's a wonder he even had the gall to think that he stood a chance to win the poll. He didn't, of course, but he did score third in popularity among voters. Whether this says something about Estrada's political Viagra or the insidious nature of Philippines politics is hard to say. After all the shenanigans by former dictator Ferdinand Marcos, anything is possible in the Philippines.
