Toss two strong personalities with two different artistic visions into one room, and the results can often be uglier than an episode of "The Apprentice.

Country music legend Vince Gill performed to a nearly sold out audience at the Clay Center on Sunday night.
The show was a striking contrast to most country acts that have hit the Capital city in the past several years. Gill served up a pre- Thanksgiving feast of blue-collar music to a white-collar crowd in an atmosphere that was reminiscent of the glory days of the Grand Ole Opry. Wraps and Armanis were far more prevalent than cowboy hats and boots, and the rowdy meter was definitely set on low for the duration of Gill's extended performance.
