• Allegheny Technologies Awarded Joint Contract

Allegheny Technologies Inc., Downtown, said a joint venture it co- owns won a contract to supply titanium to be used in the world's largest seawater desalination plant. The venture, which Allegheny Technologies owns with Verkhnaya Salda Metallurgical Production Association of Russia, expects to supply up to 6 million pounds of titanium strip that will be used to produce tubing for the project in Saudi Arabia.
