Allegheny Technologies Inc., Downtown, said a joint venture it co- owns won a contract to supply titanium to be used in the world's largest seawater desalination plant.
The venture, which Allegheny Technologies owns with Verkhnaya Salda Metallurgical Production Association of Russia, expects to supply up to 6 million pounds of titanium strip that will be used to produce tubing for the project in Saudi Arabia.

ATLANTA -- Delta and Northwest pilot negotiators say they have a tentative agreement with Delta management on a joint contract to cover both pilot groups when the companies combine later this year.
Delta's pilots union said in a statement Tuesday that the agreement is between the two pilot groups and Delta management. Terms were not disclosed.
