CHESAPEAKE - , 79, formerly of Sunnyside Arch in Chesapeake, went to be with the Lord Feb. 27, 2008. Born in Richmond Sept. 15, 1928, she was the daughter of the late John and Winona Hughes. Rosalie was predeceased by her brother, John Hughes and sisters, Esther Taylor and Thelma McDowell. She retired from Smith and Welton after many years of service and was a member of First Baptist Church of Norfolk.
Rosalie is survived by her devoted husband of 62 years, Leonard W. Bruce Jr. of Chesapeake.
