NORFOLK - , 81, entered into rest after living life to the utmost. He entered the Navy at the age of 16 and proudly served our country in World War II. He was known as the best car salesman in Hampton Roads.
He was preceded in death by his son, Kenny R. English. He is survived by two sisters, Eva Mae Nunnally and Odessa Lacy; a loving daughter, Cassie Mae Edwards; sons, Rocky English Sr. and wife Sharon, Chris English and wife Rickki; eight grandchildren, five great-grandchildren and a host of other friends and relatives.

Dr. John Joseph English, who practiced orthodontics in Whittier for more than 40 years, died Aug. 4 at the age of 83. He had been in failing health for the past seven years.
