He also found himself square in the sights of Carla Anderson, the Daily News' "Urban Warrior" columnist. Before he could plead his case before a judge--he was later found not guilty--the Daily News ran Williams' mug shot, along with those of 16 other men "arrested as Johns," on page 3.

Williams says he called Anderson numerous times pleading with her to with-hold the mug shot till he could have his day in court. "She told me if I was found not guilty, they'd run a retraction," he says. "I said `What good will that do?'"
