Richard Day, a former sheet metal worker at Haley's Metal Shop in Biddeford, died Wednesday. He was 76.
Mr. Day, of Lawrence Street, worked with sheet metal for more than 40 years. He started with Carroll Hannaford. After 10 years, Mr. Day and Carroll Hannaford started a business, H&D Heating, and operated it for a short time.
