Michael Ingersoll, a Kettering Fairmont High School alumnus who has toured the country for a year in the first national cast of the Broadway hit "Jersey Boys," won't be getting any down time, but he will get to see his wife on a regular basis. He's joined the Chicago cast of the jukebox musical about Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons, which will open there in October for an open-ended run. Chicago is home for the couple, who married two years ago.

Chicago "Jersey Boys," the stage biography of the 1960s pop singing group The Four Seasons, is a surprisingly well-made musical. Caught up in the flurry of juke box musicals that were opening on Broadway a few years ago, it is proof that the theatrical cream does rise to the top. The New York production is still a hot ticket two years after its Broadway debut, and now a Chicago "Jersey Boys" has opened for what is expected to be a long run in the Loop.
