The chief executive of the Hampton Roads Economic Development Alliance has officially accepted the job of executive director of the Jekyll Island State Park Authority in Georgia. Jones Hooks said Wednesday that May 30 will be his last working day as president and CEO of the Hampton Roads group. Hooks, a Georgia native, will officially step down on June 13 after using up his vacation days.
