  • Jean Williams, 80, of Evansville, passed away Saturday, July 2, 2011, at Deaconess Hospital. She was born May 31, 1931, in Owensville, Ind. She was an avid reader, loved the beach, and was proud to manage many restaurants in the tri-state area. Jean is survived by her sisters, Carmen Xanders of Mount Carmel, Ill., and Cindy Krug of Owensville; daughters, Diana Jean Krug (Nan) of Evansville, and Michelle Swearingen-Thompson of Kissimmee, Fla.; six grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
