IN 1972, Republican Arch Moore defeated Democrat Jay Rockefeller for governor of West Virginia. Eight years later, Rockefeller defeated Moore in the race for the same office.

Sen. Jay Rockefeller, D-W.Va., introduced legislation on Thursday to prohibit misleading sales practices by some Internet companies.
Rockefeller believes his bill - the Restore Online Shopper's Confidence Act - will help stop deceptive online sales tactics documented over the past year by the U.S. Senate Committee on Commerce, Science and Transportation, which he chairs.
