At ICM Chilterns Branch Meeting, Chris Smith of Grant Thornton, who is a senior manager of the Financial Reporting Advisory Group, gave an overview of the implications of The Companies Act 2006. Given his role, Chris naturally has a vested interest in the details of what is a very bulky piece of legislation -- 1,300 sections and 16 schedules.
