LEWISTON -- James Albert Burdick, 93, of Poland, died peacefully in Lewiston on Friday, April 15, after a short illness. He was a lifelong resident of Maine and was born on Feb. 26, 1918.
He graduated in 1936 from Edward Little High School and attended Northeastern Business College. Jim was a World War II veteran serving in Italy. After the war, he owned and operated J.A. Burdick, a local painting contracting company, which later became Yarmouth Paint Company.
