JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - On one night, on one big stage, the Jacksonville Jaguars did everything better than the Baltimore Ravens.
Maurice Jones-Drew ran for 105 yards against the NFL's best run defense, Josh Scobee kicked four field goals and the Jaguars snapped a five-game slide with a 12-7 victory over the Ravens on Monday night.

Three division leaders get a chance to prove their worth this weekend. For the Rams and Bears, the task couldn't be much more difficult. For the Jaguars, the challenge is somewhat easier.
St. Louis, which won only once last season, heads to New Orleans, where the Saints celebrated their first Super Bowl title in February. A mismatch? Hardly.

GUATOPO NATIONAL PARK, Venezuela - The search begins where a dirt road ends, in a forest festooned with vines and filled with the chatter of trilling birds. This is the realm of jaguars, and a young biologist has made it her mission to find them.
Emiliana Isasi-Catala wades through a creek and moves nimbly through the foliage, scanning the dark earth covered with fallen leaves for the distinctive round toes of jaguar tracks and the faint trails of smaller animals they prey on: agoutis, tapirs, peccaries and armadillos.

The Buffalo Bills and a collection of fans wearing Paul Posluszny's old No. 51 jersey at Ralph Wilson Stadium didn't need to wait long before getting the full Poz effect. The best and worst of Posluszny's days in Buffalo were wrapped neatly into the Bills' first series Saturday against the Jacksonville Jaguars.
Posluszny was called for illegal contact on the Bills' first play from scrimmage for holding up tight end Scott Chandler, was beaten by running back Fred Jackson for a 30-yard pass play, stuffed Jackson on second and goal at the 1 and made a terrific tackle on third down when it appeared Jackson had an open lane to the end zone.

Fred Taylor's 62-yard touchdown run on Jacksonville's opening play set the tone for Sunday's 49-11 rout of the Oakland Raiders that propelled the Jaguars into the playoffs. Taylor finished with 111 yards as the Jaguars (11-4) won for the sixth time in seven games and clinched the No. 5 seed in the AFC playoffs.
So much for a letdown after last week's big win at Pittsburgh. So much for a Pro Bowl hangover. And so much for having to worry about winning at nemesis Houston in the season finale.
