Sheffield uses credit scores only to establish pricing. Approvals are based primarily on the customer's background information. Good thing, too: [Jack Snow] says that since November 2008 and every month since then, more than 50 percent of applicants have been subprime (having a score of 660 or less). Sheffield has denied the majority of these apps, but it's also bought a significant portion. "I can tell you we've financed some 600s and 580s," Snow says. "I looked at one this morning. He scored in the 400s - and that's rare - but he had 13 loans with us and paid us like clockwork. So I can't walk away from that customer.
Snow doesn't believe in participation. "I try to put myself in the customer's shoes," he explains. "Let's say I go into a dealership today and buy an ATV, and I get fin...

Take a game at the L.A. Memorial Coliseum when the St. Anthony product was a standout wide receiver with the Rams. This was during the Rams' heyday in the '70s when the home sidelines were littered with celebrities.
Snow caught a pass and couldn't slow down as he ran out-of- bounds, and he wound up crashing into actor Telly Savalas. So when he ran back to the huddle, he told his teammates "I think I killed Kojak.'

The Columbus Blue Jackets have been much better of late since the injured Jeff Carter got back in the lineup and have put together a 4- 2-2 stretch. So right now, there is nobody in the NHL worse than the New York Islanders but the Sabres can't take them lightly tonight in First Niagara Center.

According to [Barack Obama], [Jack Snow] made his comments in Cincinnati and accused the treasurer of "virtually cheerleading for the practice of outsourcing American jobs overseas to cut costs and boost profits for large multinational corporations.
They've seen their life's work, their family's security and their own dreams for the future erased in the blink of an eye," said Obama.
"[Jack Ryan] has a clear choice. He can side with the Bush Administration and the multinational corporations that are outsourcing millions of jobs overseas, or he can side with Illinois families whose paychecks and health care depend on keeping these high-quality jobs right here in America," Obama added.
