The Missouri Bar Board of Governors will, as it does each year, elect a new vice president next week. But this year, it's not much of a contest. John "Jack" Brady, an attorney with Polsinelli Shughart in Kansas City, is the only announced candidate for the job. Barring the unforeseen, he will be elected officially at this week's annual meeting and, two years from now, rotate into the one-year presidency of the bar. Brady is careful, of course, to note that nothing in life is certain.
