NORFOLK - , 78, passed away peacefully Aug. 3, 2010 in his son's home surrounded by family. He was born Oct. 25, 1931 to Sam and Jean Yankelove Alperin of blessed memory. He was predeceased by his infant sons, Richard in 1962 and Kevin in 1971; his aunt, Bessie Yankelove; and mother-in-law, Esther Abrams.
Left to cherish his memory are his devoted wife of 52 years, Paula Abrams Alperin of Norfolk; two daughters and sons-in-law, Karen and Dr. Martin "Marty" Goldberg of Norfolk, Wendy and Richard "Rick" Rubin of Charleston, W.Va.; and son and daughter- in-law, Jeffrey and Faith Alperin of Norfolk.
