SemGroup Energy Partners units rose Monday after two investment companies acted on a loan default agreement to take voting control of the embattled company. An 8-K report with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission showed Manchester Securities of New York and Dallas-based Alerian Capital Management announced a new board of directors for SGLP, the one public company in privately held SemGroup LP's portfolio. They ousted all but two members of the existing board, including SemGroup Energy Chief Executive Kevin Foxx.

Silverjet Plc, the U.K. business-class-only airline that flies to Newark Liberty International Airport, was suspended from trading in London because it hasn't received part of a pledged investment. Silverjet asked for $5 million under a loan agreement with Viceroy Holdings LLC, a United Arab Emirates-based fund, and hasn't yet been given all of the money, the carrier said Friday. Shares were suspended from trading on the London Stock Exchange's Alternative Investment Market at the request of the carrier.
ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. -- The Navajo Nation is shying away from using a $100 million line of credit to finance its first casino and instead is tapping a tribal trust fund to ensure the casino will be operating by midsummer. Negotiations with JP Morgan Chase on the line of credit slowed after the institution requested that the tribe put up 125 percent collateral as a term of the loan agreement, said council Delegate LoRenzo Bates, who serves on the tribe's Investment Committee.
