This was a preliminary investigation into the workers in the funeral industry be various demographic measures. We also searched for different viewpoints on political and ethical issues. Entrepreneurship and the development of new business continue to be the forefront of socioeconomic development in virtually all economies today. Despite evidence of increasing research into entrepreneurial growth, the existing research is limited by the fact that most studies define entrepreneurial growth as a unidimensional construct and operationalize it as "realized" growth relying on financially based measures. This study investigates the impact of coaching expertise on project management outcomes within Six Sigma programs. Survey data were collected from 140 Black Belts and 176 team members at six organizations. In this research, the relationships between the independent variables (project characteristics, coaching expertise, employee focus, years of experience, number of projects completed, education level, and number of projects in a team) and the dependent variables (project management outcomes) were tested using linear regression. Based on theories of social exchange and cognitive decision-making, the current research was an initial attempt to analyze battered and nonbattered women's decision-making processes using a policy capturing methodology. Participants included 28 battered and 30 nonbattered women who responded to several questionnaires and vignettes about violent relationships. Overall, both groups of women reported they would be unlikely to stay in the described relationships. Further, the cue of violence intensity was overwhelmingly the most heavily weighted variable for women in both samples, and a comparison of subjective reports and objective policies found that both groups lacked insight into which variables they were weighing when deciding to stay.
