Two centuries after the birth of Abraham Lincoln and nine decades after the invention of television, you might think that TV would have run out of new programs on the nation's 16th president. But you'd be wrong.
April offers a colorful transition from winter to the warmth of summer and finally a chance to get outdoors. It also offers theater, jazz and boxing in addition to gardening. On Friday, the University of Evansville's theater department will debut a new performance, "The Farnsworth Invention," at Shanklin Theatre. The Aaron Sorkin-penned production focuses on the creation of television and the adversarial quest for technological innovation that ensues between a young Idaho inventor and the RCA communications mogul who was alleged to have stolen the design.
