A theme of the Internet age is that people who have grown up with online access expect content to be free, once they or someone else pays an Internet service provider for access.
In practice "free" often has become a synonym for "stolen." Many Internet sites don't think twice about posting copyrighted material and many Internet service providers don't give a thought to stopping them because the content generates traffic.
