Fredericton, N.B. - Complaints that the waters of the Allagash River in Maine are being diverted from the St. John River, of which it is a tributary to the Penobscot River, shortly will be laid before the International Boundary Waterways Commission.
Last evening in Lewiston, police arrested on suspicion four men whom it is thought are connected with a Bunco game worked here last Friday in which a young man lost $80. The men had been in the city since Thursday and were watched all day Friday; and when the right time came, all four were taken to the station.
