That AD currently requires revisions to the Airworthiness Limitations Section (ALS) of the manufacturer's Instructions for Continued Airworthiness (ICA) to include required enhanced inspection of selected critical life-limited parts at each piece-part opportunity. This AD was prompted by the need to require enhanced inspection of selected critical life-limited parts of JT9D series engines. We are issuing this AD to prevent critical life-limited rotating engine part failure, which could result in an uncontained engine failure and damage to the airplane.
Juries making capital punishment decisions must properly understand legal instructions if they are to perform their duties properly. The U.S. Supreme Court incorrectly insists on juror infallibility in the face of contradicting evidence that jurors often do not understand these instructions, for example not knowing whether 'life imprisonment' includes the possibility of parole. Defendants in such cases must have the right to appellate review of juror understanding of instructions, to avoid capricious use of the death penalty.

What separates this title from a slew of other cooking games is that you're not just whipping up recipes onscreen, which will either just make you hungry or bored; this game actually can help you become a better chef by giving you instructions for real-life application.
A good friend kindly sent me a copy of the advice the Dalai Lama is sending us for 2008. The great spiritual teacher wants us to enjoy "good karma," which is described by some as "right action," a force that, if used well, can determine our destiny, both as a single human and as a nation. This is, of course, a very simplistic view of karma but one that will serve us well if we hold to it. Every organism has genes, the instructions for life. Unraveling the mystery of genes and how they work was the impetus behind the mapping of the human genome. Since the first draft of the human genome sequence was announced in February 2001, the course of scientific study has changed dramatically. However, for laypeople, making sense of this highly technical science and the industry surrounding it can seem as daunting a task as the human genome project itself.
Now and then a cookbook comes a long and settles right into one's life. This happened to me when I found Sweety Pies (Taunton, 2007) by Patty Pinner. Its subtitle is "An Uncommon Collection of Womanish Observations, with Pie. " I picked it up to glance through it, sat down and read it from cover to cover; I called friends late at night and shared excerpts with them. Each pie recipe has a story of the woman behind it, all of them from Pinner's neighborhood in the Midwest, an African-American community rich with characters whose histories and attitudes and quotes come to life in vignettes accompanying instructions for making down-home, irresistible sweets (Sister Baby's Buttermilk Pie, Odessa Goodlow's Butterscotch Pie with Meringue Topping, Mama's Zucchini Cobbler).
