A $15 million loan to help a research institute build a headquarters in Fairmont has received preliminary approval from the West Virginia Economic Development Authority.
The loan to the Institute for Scientific Research Inc. was one of several actions taken Thursday during the development authority's monthly meeting at NorthGate Business Park.
