WHITTIER - No was one was injured and the only damage was to contents in a small fire Monday afternoon at a small industrial building.The fire at T and M Sewing Machines, 12401 Slauson Ave., Whittier, took only about 15 minutes to extinguish, said Ron Cabrera, a battalion chief for the Los Angeles County Fire Department. Cabrera said the fire is under investigation but there were concerns about the inside of the location. Damage was unknown, he added.
